  The Deskside Support Service is an enhancement to our standard Maintenance Service and can also be provided in conjunction with our Help Desk service.

Croft will deploy highly skilled support engineers, onsite, to act on your behalf and attend an end user issue and resolve that issue quickly and effectively.
 

 

Benefits of using the deskside support service include:

  • Fixed costs ensure transparent and tighter budgetary control.
  • No need to worry about recruitment, training, staff retention or cover for holiday or sickness.
  • Onsite engineers have access to our 2nd line support providing consistently higher quality of service.

 

Engineers can be based onsite permanently, as an extension of your existing IT team or on a temporary basis. Temporary arrangements can include; covering holidays or sickness or to lend assistance with project work.

Deskside Support is provided on a labour only basis where the engineer will operate as an extension of your existing IT support team.

Predominately aimed at providing users with access to first line technical support, the onsite service is geared towards resolving IT issues which users are unable to resolve themselves. This could range from password resets, software support, problems with printing and most things in between.

Software support is predominately provided for Microsoft operating systems and applications, however depending upon the requirement, it may be possible to support additional software.

Desk Side support is typically provided during normal office hours Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. However, coverage up to 24/7/365 can be arranged.
